Accounts in the Connectivity Explorer have several purposes.
- Accounts provide a place to hold your preferences securely, while minimizing the number of cookies and other details placed into your browser cache. Some views have numerous preference setting, many of which are Notebook-specific.
- Accounts allow us to provide better user support.
- Your privacy options are tied to you account. What about Usage Tracking?
- There’s a feature on the roadmap that would allow multiple users to share notebooks and their contents, while maintaining proper access controls.
